Before installing a Windows 95 driver you need to have your UltraSound card working in DOS (DOS mode),
using software version 3.5x or later of the UltraSound software. I have ZIPped a "minimal" DOS environment (without unneeded DOS programs but with "UltraSound Patch Maker Lite" Windows program) from my working Win95 system. If this not working, download and unzip the the full DOS installer: GUS411CD.ZIP, restart your computer in MS-DOS mode and install it from there (on WinME: boot from floppy/CD or use "Real DOS-Mode Patch for Windows ME"). You should skip the Windows 3.1 part of the installation by not entering and Windows directory when prompted. |
